I have been dealing with Steve and Fred at Cartridge World since this past Fall. The quality of ink that they sell is equal or better than the original Canon ink cartridges that I have purchased in the past. I am knowledgeable about quality printing because I print many pictures that I have taken. The procedure for purchasing Cartridge World ink is as follows: Customers take their spent ink cartridges into Cartridge World and purchase Cartridge World’s ink refills at quite a cost savings. That’s how the process works, but in addition to the cost savings is the honest service from Steve and Fred. I have had too extremely positive experiences with them. Last Fall, my Canon printer failed. I had purchased it in 2011, was very happy with the print quality, and would prefer to keep it as long as it was financially feasible to do so. First, I called Canon for technical help. They recommended that I purchase a new printer since they no longer supported my model. That wasn’t the answer that I wanted to hear. I decided to call Cartridge World because of the positive things that I had heard. After speaking with Fred, I took the printer in for another opinion, and what I thought would be last rites, and their probable recommendation to purchase another Canon printer. Steve called me back with the good news. I could purchase a new print head at a reasonable cost and he would install it for the cost of the print head. He found a new Canon print head in California, had it shipped back and installed it. Steve only charged me his cost for the print head, no labor, and asked me only to purchase ink from him in the future. It was a win-win for me. He fixed my printer for the cost of the print head and I would purchase his ink in the future for substantially less than I had been buying original Canon ink cartridges. My second experience came this week. There was a printer error on both my computer and the printer screen. “Ink absorber almost full – contact service center, press OK to continue.” I called Canon again and was told that I would be able to print a little longer and then the printer would eventually lock up. They said that it would be more cost effective for me to buy a new printer. Again I took my printer to Cartridge World. Steve tried a few things and I left it with him. He called me the next morning and told me it was fixed. He spent quite a bit of time researching my problem. He had to download the “fix” to his computer to set the absorber counter back to 0. Again, the only payment that he asked for was my future ink purchases. Without Cartridge World and Steve and Fred’s honesty and integrity, I could have easily purchased a new printer to replace my 2011 Canon on either of the two occasions that it failed. My thanks again to Steve and Fred. – Dave Allred
